Gary Coleman has passed away…only slightly older than myself.

Here’s hoping he finds the peace he never quite had in this life.

As soon as I figure out how to draw a stick figure doing a facepalm, I’ll have a WWJD cartoon to go with this story…

OMG: Fox News Gets One Right

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Now, I’m usually first in line to call Fox News on their blatant distortions and obvious political machinations disguised as journalism, but just this once I have to give it to them.

I don’t mind for a moment that Mexican President Felipe Calderon has an opinion of Arizona’s new immigration law.  I don’t even mind that he comes here and openly criticizes.  I think the people complaining that he’s “interfering in the internal affairs of the United States” or some such nonsense are mindless whiny babies.

That said, someone needs to introduce this guy to the American concept of pot and kettle.  Mexico is a third-world country by most measures, in spite of small pockets of prosperity.  With draconian immigration laws of their own and a legal system renown in the hemisphere for its corruption, Mr. Calderon would be wise to go back to Windexing his own glass house and be a little more careful about where he throws stones.

Hypocrisy.  I hates it.
